New Team Leader in Spain: Alfonso Vilches del Castillo

How were you introduced to Synergy and what attracted you?

I heard about Synergy Worldwide thanks to Mariano del Castillo, who suggested that I look into the company and its products, to expand this business in Spain. Once I checked its soundness, experience, the years the company had been in business and that it is a Nutrition giant worldwide, the decision was easy. It's not every day a multinational corporation that is NASDAQ listed since 1989 seeks partners to open new markets, and you have the chance to become one of them! 


What attracted me about Synergy was its excellent business model and the financial success that thousands of people had achieved in over 25 countries, and I asked myself: if there are already people making a lot of money in other countries, what stops me from being one of them in Spain? And I focused on how to get there, not on whether I could do it or not. 

Synergy has gone from being just a hope to slowly becoming the solution to all of my financial problems, past, present and future. I have guaranteed my financial future with Synergy Worldwide, and now I am beginning to enjoy a quieter and healthier life.  

Which is your favorite product and why?

In my opinion, Proargi9+ stands out from the rest. Ever since I started taking it, the result has been fantastic for my body. Proargi9+ is the first natural product to be included on the US formulary for prevention of cardiovascular diseases, and it is our moral obligation to inform all the people around us who wish to keep their health at a high level of wellbeing. 

Synergy Worldwide and its V3 System are not just products, Synergy also provides a very important message to people worldwide: having valuable information on Nutrition is a key factor for lengthening life and preventing illness. We cannot leave our health to random factors, not knowing what we eat, since food determines our present and future health.  

What is a typical day for you when you are building your business?

It is very easy to build the business. It consists on listening to the people around you, especially to those with whom you build a good personal rapport and connect with emotionally, and sharing the information on Synergy at the right time. Once you have provided the information in an easy format, you must make sure that they understand it. 

Almost everyone needs more free time for their family, more income, financial stability, to improve their health, take control of their lives, prepare for retirement... In my case I had several moments of reflection, when I wondered whether the life I was living was what I had envisioned for myself when I was young. I asked myself why did I have to work for 40 or 50 hours a week until the end of my days, if there were a lot of people in the world who were successful and enjoyed a better life. I made the decision to join Synergy Worldwide and day after day when I look in the mirror, I congratulate myself on taking that step.  


How many hours do you work it each week?

At the beginning, I would work for 20 or 30 hours a week, but now only around 10 or 15 hours, although almost every day I do some training activity and I am in contact by phone with all the people with whom I work directly.

What would you say has been the biggest factor in your success so far?

Many factors help: perseverance, action, determination, personal development... But what helped me the most was training. I wasn't familiar with this business system and after having spent almost two years reading books, listening to conferences given by Network Marketing industry leaders, studying training videos by the best professionals... I have acquired knowledge that helps me not only to build a solid business, but also to speak with renowned leaders using their same language.

Who has helped you to build your business?

From the beginning Mariano del Castillo helped me immensely to build the business and then I began to ask William Martin for advice, he is one of the distributors who has reached the highest level in Europe, CEO. I would send a few questions every month or every three weeks, and he would kindly answer them, and I would share them with my sponsored agents. Until I discovered that the questions have to be answered with tools, and so I began to recommend other members to do the same. A professional tool (audio, video or text) is better than 30 minutes of explanations by a distributor.

What activities do you regularly engage in to help your team members and grow your business?

I go with the newbies to their presentations, until they can go on their own. With those who have been with us longer, and are committed, we have personal meetings every 2 weeks to assess where we are heading and the results we are achieving. We also have telephone conversations almost every day. We always look for what can be improved and we share what works for each of us.

What goals are you working towards at the moment?

To support and help my direct sponsored agents, and those who wish to work with me directly, to achieve the goal of becoming a Team Leader. 

If you were to give one piece of advice to someone new joining Synergy, what would you tell them?

If they have already been involved in this industry, I would ask them to seriously think about their past results, and with great humbleness to correct their bad habits, but without forgetting their experience.

If this is their first time in this type of business, I recommend that they follow step by step the system that is already implemented and, basically, to carry out the activity in a professional manner, because that is the only way to achieve optimal results. If you take it as a hobby, you will not make a large income, but if you take it seriously, professionally, Synergy will reward you as you deserve. This has been my case.
