Meet Chief Scientific Officer Dr. Matthew Tripp

Synergy WorldWide, along with Nature’s Sunshine Products, was fortunate enough to bring on Matthew Tripp, Ph.D., as Chief Scientific Officer in May 2013. We have been delighted to have someone of Dr. Tripp’s qualifications and industry reputation on our leadership team.

The addition of Dr. Tripp to the corporate team demonstrates yet again that Synergy WorldWide and Nature's Sunshine are fully committed to excellence and innovation. We continue to invest in our personnel and our brand in order to lead the industry in providing quality transformational health products.

Dr. Tripp served as Vice President of Research and Development at Metagenics. There, he managed the discovery, development, safety and clinical validation of medical foods and nutraceuticals. He also helped in creating more than100 patents and patent applications. Prior to that, Tripp worked in research and development at several Fortune 500 companies. He earned a Ph.D. from Washington State University in physiology/microbial genetics/microbiology. Dr. Tripp received a Master’s degree in microbial physiology/bacterial genetics and a Bachelor’s degree in biology from Western Michigan University.

Dr. Tripp works closely with Dr. William Keller, Vice President and Chief Science Resource Officer; Lynda Hammons, Vice President of Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs; and Trent McCausland, Director of Engineering and Project Management at our Spanish Fork manufacturing facility. We are thrilled to have Dr. Tripp in the Synergy family!
